‘How To Train Your Dragon 2’- First Teaser Trailer!

The first How To Train Your Dragon was such a surprise and lovable film experience that I had called it one of the best animated movies of 2010, mainly for its surreal flying sequences. We now get our hands on the first teaser trailer from How To Train Your Dragon 2 which exclusively boasts footage lasting almost 2 minutes of just flying. Crazy.

The film brings back the same voice cast from the original: Jay Baruchel, Gerard Butler, Craig Ferguson, America Ferrera, Jonah Hill, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, T.J. Miller, and Kristen Wiig.

Best Fan-Made Christopher Reeve Superman Trailer Ever?

There have been a plethora of fan-made Superman trailers here and there, some of them even raising an eyebrow or two for its skill, but after I saw this trailer made by the very adroit YouTube host silverlightsaber, there is no need to see any other one. So far this is the definitive Christopher Reeve Superman trailer, in my opinion. I literally got chills watching it and hearing Hans Zimmer’s Man of Steel composition. It made me appreciate even more the hero, the character and the story of Superman. Read More

Watch: Third new trailer of horror film “The Conjuring”

From what I’ve been personally hearing, word on the rated R scarefest of “The Conjuring” is divided. I’ve been told in my face that it’s tame and a snoozer and then been told that it’s really scary. Sheesh, which one is it? Like always, I have to see it for myself because I can’t trust other critics friends of mine. I’m seeing it soon, but from the two trailers I have already seen, my current fave horror director James Wan (Saw, Insidious 1 & 2) amps the suspense to a 10. But I’ve been fooled before by misleading trailers. Watch this third trailer and tell me what you think – bomb or hit?

Official synopsis: Before there was Amityville, there was Harrisville.  Based on the true life story, “The Conjuring” tells the tale of how world renowned paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren were called upon to help a family terrorized by a dark presence in a secluded farmhouse.  Forced to confront a powerful demonic entity, the Warrens find themselves caught in the most horrifying case of their lives.

This film has been rated R for sequences of disturbing violence and terror.

Stallone, Schwarzenegger: First trailer for ‘Escape Plan’!

Back in the 80’s Escape Plan would have been the movie of the year! Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger in the same movie going one on one in leading roles!? What!! That’s what I’m talking about. But now both are evidently old, still living off their glory day reputations. Stallone more than Schwarzenegger is in better shape and can still have hand to hand combat battles, but Arnold just looks frail (they were also seen in The Expendables, but that was more a cameo than anything by Arnold). Check out the first trailer above and the new poster, plus pics after the jump. Universal Pictures just sent me Benjamin Bratt‘s personal presentation of the new Hispanic trailer for Despicable Me 2. Selena Gomez’s new movie trailer of "Getaway"

Unlike her eyeblink appearance in the god-awful Aftershock, Selena Gomez is at leasat in half of the new action thriller Getaway starring Ethan Hawke. He, byt he way, has already been in two movies this year – Before Midnight (one of this year’s best) and The Purge (a follow up horror thriller after Sinister from 2012).

After Spring Breakers and Aftershock, Gomez is really trying to break into acting all while maintaining a healthy music career. She’s about to drop a new album called Stars and Dance along with a US tour.

I still can’t get a chance to judge if she can really act. I think she has potential to be very good, but I really need to see her with better actors around her. Read More
