The Radio City Rockettes stopped traffic on 6th avenue in Manhattan this week in front of the famous art deco marquee and performed an awe-inspiring and fan-favorite number “New York at Christmas”. The performance took place on a double-decker Gray Line City Sightseeing bus in front of a very surprised and jolly crowd. But that was not all, Santa Claus and the Rockettes had a special announcement. They announced the Gift of Joy program, which aims to bring a sense of togetherness and the spirit of giving back to the community. Read More

A Look At The Rooftop Farm Of ‘Rosemary’s’ Restaurant

07.10.2016 | By |

I ate here the other day as my wife and I were looking for a restaurant in the Village that was puppy friendly. We had our maltipoo Toby in tow. Through the Finding Fido app we found this gem of a place that actually has a rooftop farm. Many of the ingredients in our meal were from the garden itself. It was delicious, plus the rustic and charming decor sealed it for us. Toby was also happy to people-see at the outdoor tables. I highly recommend this place folks!

The Vulture Festival’s Special Screening Of ‘The Overnight’

06.19.2015 | By |

*Note: This review appeared originally on June 3rd.

Let me start by mentioning this, I have always been a fan of the Netflix Original Series “Orange is the New Black” most notably of the character ‘Piper Chapman’ portrayed by the actress Taylor Schilling. So when I was told that the New York Vulture Festival had invited ShowBizCafe.com to the special screening of the film “The Overnight” starting Taylor Schilling, I was pleased that I would be able to see her as a character other then ‘Piper Chapman’ which I am so used to. I arrived at the Tribeca Theaters in Varick Street well before showtime. As I entered the theater I was greeted by the Vulture Festival staff, had a small chat with them about how much we were looking forward to this film and Schilling’s portrayal of not ‘Piper Chapman.’ Read More
