New Trailer: ‘Fantastic Four’ Reboot

The new trailer of the reboot of 20th Century Fox’s Fantastic Four just dropped starring Miles Teller, Michael B. Jordan, Kate Mara, Jamie Bell and Toby Kebbell. It will be directed by Josh Trank and it’s evident by the trailer that they’re going full blown origin story on it. Fox is doing this new version independent of Marvel Studios. What does that mean? You know exactly what that means. Fantastic Four will be in theaters August 7, 2015, in 3D.

When 2015 began, no one really included Fantastic Four as part of their anticipated movies to watch. How can you not is my question. It’s a superhero film for heaven’s sakes! It’ll make millions simply because of the genre. Will it be good? Well, that’s a whole other article altogether, but I put it in position #12 in my 2015 Will Be The Biggest Year In The History Of Movies article. I’m not overly excited because it is not a real Marvel Studio film and they seem to be the only ones who know how to make a superhero movie today.

Watch the trailer above as well as the filmmakers commentary on the trailer below and let us know our thoughts below. PS: I don’t think commentary has ever been done for a trailer.

Official synopsis: A contemporary re-imagining of Marvel’s original and longest-running superhero team, Fantastic Four centers on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways. Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy.
