Many are calling ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past‘ the ultimate comic book movie or something very close to it! It’s bringing back the original team with director Bryan Singer, plus the cast of the new X-Men and the classic X-Men. They pull it off by inserting the theme of time traveling. What fun!
From the new class led by Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy, to their older selves played by Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen, plus the scores of mutants from past and present, can Singer pull it off?
X-Men: Days of Future Past is directed by Bryan Singer, and stars Peter Dinklage, Omar Sy, Boo Boo Stewart, Fan Bingbing, Evan Peters, Adan Canto, Josh Helman, Evan Jonigkeit, Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Nicholas Hoult, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Hugh Jackman, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore, Halle Berry, Lucas Till, and Daniel Cudmore.
X-Men: Days of Future Past hits theaters May 23, 2014, and will be followed up with it’s sequel X-Men: Apocalypse for its May 27, 2016 release.
Synopsis: X-Men and X-Men 2 director Bryan Singer returns to the reigns of Marvel Entertainment’s popular comic-book film franchise with this time-traveling installment that finds the Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) and the rest of the mutants working alongside younger versions of themselves to alter the course of the future by reshaping a crucial historical event.
