New Trailer: Steven Spielberg’s ‘Bridge of Spies’ Starring Tom Hanks

06.5.2015 | By |

Like in any other medium, whenever you put out an all-star team to work together, it is an attraction tough to ignore. Movies do it too and the latest is the new Steven Spielberg/Tom Hanks political thriller collabo called Bridge of Spies. From what the trailer shows us, it seems vintage Spielberg and vintage Hanks. There is tension throughout and I for one can’t wait to see this October 16, just in time for award season!

This anticipated dramatic thriller is set against the backdrop of a series of historic events, which tells the story of James Donovan, a Brooklyn lawyer who finds himself thrust into the center of the Cold War when the CIA sends him on the near-impossible task to negotiate the release of a captured American U-2 pilot.

Tom Hanks, Mark Rylance, Scott Shepherd, Amy Ryan, Sebastian Koch, Alan Alda star and the screenplay is by three-time Academy Award winners Ethan Coen & Joel Coen.

Bridge of Spies will be released in theaters on October 16, 2015.
