But that’s not the case anymore. Look at the poster collage below (courtesy of Brian Latimer), it is a testament to how far Hispanic actors have integrated themselves into the fabric of American cinema and pop culture. Harvey Weinstein finally gives us a look at Hands Of Stone, based on the legendary Panamanian pugilist Roberto Duran and his equally legendary trainer Ray Arcel who changed each other’s lives. We got our hands on the first official photo from the new Roberto “Manos de Piedra” Duran biopic, ‘Hands Of Stone‘. The photo was released by its director and writer, Venezuelan man Jonathan Jakubowicz, on his Twitter account. The photo shows Venezuelan actor Edgar Ramirez as Duran; behind are Robert De Niro as coach Ray Arcel, Rubén Blades as Carlos Eleta, the manager.
