The New ‘Spider-Man Homecoming’ Trailer Is Here!

12.9.2016 | By |

I’m glad Spider-Man is coming back to the screen with Marvel Studios behind it. It’s what every superhero fan always wanted, but there are some slight problems I can’t get passed. One, the suit. Doesn’t it look cheap to you? Two, this storyline really takes Spidey and Peter Parker to the stone age. He “is not ready to save the world yet.” You can’t wind the character that far back after giving us so many Spidey films since the last  14 years. Hopefully this is the version everyone sticks with.  Read More

‘Fantastic Four’: New Second Trailer Raises The Bar

07.14.2015 | By |

It’s been the laughing stock of 2015. Many critics and fans alike aren’t even giving FF4 a chance. They’ve killed it before it had a chance to hit the screen. Why? 1) It’s a remake//reboot/reimagination and people frown upon “re” of anything. 2) The cast. They’re not A-list actors and fans don’t think this B-team are good enough to get the job done. 3) It’s not a Marvel Studio film, but a Fox film. But after watching this second trailer, you haters might have to reconsider. Watch and be objective. It’s going to be a solid film. Read More

Why I Didn’t Go See ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’

05.4.2015 | By |

I made my way through the crowded isles at the cinema, my ten-year-old brother at my side, and made myself as tall as I could in order to see over people’s heads in hopes of finding a few empty seats. I had made it a point to get there at least thirty minutes before the movie started and even then the theatre was packed. I finally spotted two empty seats in a dark corner next to an unkempt older man. The theatre was loud with teenagers hollering over almost every line. The older man next to me did not have the most appealing body odor. If this was the case at the average theater in Queens, New York, which I go to for its proximity and convenience, I cannot begin to imagine what it must have been like in the city. In the end, as much as I loved 2012’s The Avengers, I was not a fan of that movie-going experience. Read More
