This Is The Hot New Hispanic Girl Band You Need To Know About!

01.29.2016 | By |

Hinds is a four girl rock band from Spain who love to sing Bob Dylan songs in English. Carlotta Cosials, Ana Perrote, Ade Martin and Amber Grimbergen were formed in 2011 already having an album and two singles under their belt. They began strumming and singing Dylan tunes at the beach never really taking serious the idea of creating a band. Now after an album and two singles under their belt, they’re making a serious name for themselves and are currently touring in Europe and coming to the US in March. Read More

Where Are All The Black Rockers?

07.15.2014 | By |

It seems that in a span of about of about 70 years, the world has nearly forgotten where the roots of Rock lay. Today in 2014 it’s almost hard to imagine the genre as heavily influenced by African Americans, and as one that was born and raised predominantly by the sounds of those same black musicians. Luckily, today a group of 8th grade boys from Brooklyn might give us a chance to remember a legacy long forgotten.

10.30.2013 | By |

Lou Reed, singer, songwriter, guitarist and founding member of The Velvet Underground, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 27 at his Long Island home at the age of 71. 10.29.2013 | By |

Even while rocking a pair of Birkenstock sandals (not what many would consider the most fashionable footwear) 71-year-old Paul McCartney remains one of the coolest and biggest names in rock and roll. Don’t believe me? Then perhaps you should check out his new video for “Queenie Eye.” Read More

First photo of Tom Cruise in ‘Rock of Ages’

First photo of Tom Cruise in 'Rock of Ages'

This has got to be the funniest pair of photos I have seen all year, perhaps in years! Tom Cruise looks so miscast here. The role should’ve gone to Mark Wahlberg. Anyone remember 2001’s ‘Rock Star‘? He was hilarious in it! Not too mention his rock star pipe dreams in ‘Boogie Nights‘.

Nevertheless, Tom Cruise plays Stacee Jaxx in ‘Rock Of Ages‘ about a small-town girl who arrives in Hollywood at the height of the 1980s rock-music scene. Cruise isn’t the girl by the way.

Adam Shankman directs this rock musical for New Line with a cast that includes Alec Baldwin, Russell Brand, Mary J. Blige, Paul Giamatti, Malin Akerman, Bryan Cranston, Mexican actor Diego Boneta, and Julianne Hough, Ryan Seacrest’s flavor of the month.

Laugh your head off at these two pics below as much I did. Happy Father’s Day Tommy!
