New Trailer: Antonio Banderas In ‘Los 33’

04.1.2015 | By |

Here’s the first trailer from the almost forgotten story of Los 33, the survival of 33 Chilean miners north of the regional capital of Copiapó, in northern Chile in 2010. The movie which had Javier Bardem and Jennifer Lopez at some point attached to it, settled on a cast led by Antonio Banderas and co-starring Lou Diamond Phillips, Rodrigo Santoro, Juliette Binoche, Kate del Castillo and Juan Pablo Raba.  Read More

New Trailer: ‘300: Rise of an Empire’, Official Trailer #2

12.4.2013 | By |

I’m not sure if the sequel of ‘300’ will ever be better than its predecessor, but it looks like it could be fun to watch. Directed by Israeli director Noam Murro (Smart People), written by Zack Snyder and Kurt Johnstad and starring Eva Green, Brazilian actor Rodrigo Santoro and Sullivan Stapleton, the bloody R rated film promises tons of action, bundles of sanguine scenes and CGI that will make your eyes bloodshot.  Read More

6 Hispanic Actors That Could Play Zorro In Fox’s “Zorro Reborn”

12.3.2013 | By |

With our ‘Zorro Reborn’ proof-of-concept trailer article we exclusively posted last week, there has been a plethora of speculation in Hollywood on who could become the next Zorro and lead the Latino masked fugitive into the next generation. On film, Zorro was first played by Douglas Fairbanks in the 20’s, then most recently with Antonio Banderas in 1998 and 2005. Banderas to us inhabited the complete epitome of the character, but with the anti-hero off the screen for the last 8 years, there has been talk from 20th Century Fox, owners of the film rights, of rebooting the swashbuckling hero. But who could take Banderas’ place? With the film not yet greenlit and no set lead role, we take this opportunity to play around with the idea of proposing the six best Hispanic actors, in our opinion, that would be perfect to play the cunning hero of the flowing cape, flat-brimmed hat, and black eye-mask.  Read More

EXCLUSIVE! 8 never before seen clips from ‘CHE’!

EXCLUSIVE! 8 never before seen clips from 'CHE'!

With a month to go before its US release (December 12th and Jan 9th, 2009) we obtained 8 never before seen movie clips from ‘Che’ starring Academy award winning actor Benicio del Toro and a prolific Latino cast.

These clips are in Spanish without English subtitles, just the way director Steven Soderbergh intended them to be. Cameos include Julia OrmondFranka Potente and yes… Matt Damon as a US agent having a whole conversation speaking in Spanish.

We were surprised at the various Latino dialects we heard from Colombia, Puerto Rico and even Mexican, from many actors who were trying to sound Cuban. But at the end of a 5 hour journey through the life of Guevara, it is the last of your worries.

Nevertheless, we will have a review of the film in December. We enjoyed it, if it matters to you, so enjoy these clips and we hope they help you judge whether you want to invest your time and money in the film.
