This brand new Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer, the second of many more, introduces key characters such as Lex Luthor, Clark Kent and Wonder Woman. The trailer though is not as good, in my mind, as excludes action for exposition. The principle driver here is the a dialogue, a tête-à-tête that should epic, but ultimately, seems more interesting than epic.
Ok, Snyder wants us to get to know the layout of the players a bit more, but don’t include comedic cheekiness to actors who don’t possess any apart from Jesse Eisenberg. Nevertheless, I am excited that DC is finally bringing together these iconic characters in ONE movie. Remember, if it succeeds, we’ll all get more superhero movies. Isn’t that what WE all want?
Official synopsis: From director Zack Snyder comes “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” starring Oscar winner Ben Affleck as Batman/Bruce Wayne and Henry Cavill as Superman/Clark Kent in the characters’ first big-screen pairing. Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice arrives in theater March of 2016.
