‘Warm Bodies’ is #1 Super Bowl weekend

This Super bowl weekend ‘Warm Bodies’ the comedy about the zombie-human romance opened at number one with $19.5 million dollars. The film appealed mainly to females, but the zombies brought in a different element and a broader audience. Also, the great reviews will probably keep it around for longer.

‘Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters’ last week’s number one dropped to number two with $9.2 million dollars. The fairytale might still be able to accumulate more money, but that’s still left to be seen.

‘Silver Linings Playbook’ stays at number three with $8.1 million dollars. This movie has been a great success for the studio and it doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon.
