Viernes de Estrenos con Jack Rico: ‘Unfriended,’ ‘True Story,’ ‘Paul Blart 2’

04.17.2015 | By |

HBO’s ‘True Detective’ Season 2: First Trailer With Colin Farrell And Vince Vaughn

04.9.2015 | By |

When I heard that Vince Vaughn, a mostly comedic actor, and Colin Farrell, a mostly B actor at best, were starring in season 2 of HBO’s True Detective, my face cringed. I just can’t understand the cast selection process. Here’s the first trailer of ‘True Detective’ Season 2. What do YOU think? Read More

About Time… Disney Finally Creates First Latina Princess

01.30.2015 | By |

Disney this week announced that they created their first ever Latina Princess and her name will be Princess Elena of Avalor. Here’s the catch, she will only exist as part of the Disney Junior cable TV world and not in film which is where the mainstream masses could really have felt her presence. To keep her ensconced from broad platforms such as the movie arena, unlike the African-American Princess in 2009’s The Princess and the Frog, is something that should have all Hispanics pondering on why the decision of relegating her to the whims of 2-7 year olds? Did things not work out with the diverse Princesses concept in film? Read More
