Alien Invasion Movie ‘The 5th Wave’ Releases First Official Trailer

09.14.2015 | By |

Alien movies are a dime a dozen now a days and no Hollywood studio can seem to get them right anymore. Battleship was a fun disaster, Godzilla was only good when it could’ve been grat, and I can go on and on. The last good one I saw was Spielberg’s War of the Worlds. But The 5th Wave seems like it can provide some good tension, suspense and fun time at the theaters. Just look at the plane scene, tell me that didn’t wig you out? Read More

But that is exactly what is happening with Our Brand is Crisis, from director David Gordon Green, starring Oscar winners Sandra Bullock and Billy Bob Thornton. The film is really about the rivalry of two Presidential campaign strategists that happens to take place in Bolivia. Nevertheless, its nice to see Hollywood open-minded enough to allow a Latin American country to serve as the setting of a story. Read More

This Week In Movies… ‘The Transporter: Refueled,’ ‘Un Gallo Con Muchos Huevos’

08.31.2015 | By |

We begin the month of September this week and Labor Day is almost upon us. With summer almost done, the new releases for the next several days will try to provide us with a good laugh, because this week the comedies are really taking over. With such films as: Addicted to Fresno, Break Point, Bloodsucking Bastards and a Walk in the Woods, you could have some good chuckles, but if you are in the mood for something more edgy and informative, the documentary A Sinner in Mecca will open your eyes to a world that not many people have seen, from the point of view of openly gay muslim director Parvez Sharma.
