The “1-4-0″: #ThePyramid is a mix between ‘As Above, So Below’ and ‘The Descent’. It’s a juvenile, fun, horror thrill-ride much like the ones you experience at Universal Studios. Read More

With Danish director Lars von Trier revealing that he made almost all his films under the influence and the New York Times having endorsed the legalization of marijuana in 2014, it is only a matter of time before “weed” becomes legal in all 50 US states. When a major newspaper like the Denver Post creates a website called The Cannabist to report all things on “pot,” you know some major changes are coming to our country. We imagine an FM morning radio show dedicated to the art of “blazing grass” – wait and see. This is why we have decided to mash up weed and movies to make this article – The Best Movies To Watch While Stoned Out Of Your Mind!

If you have had a chance to see the 88 second first teaser trailer of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, you should watch it again. Why? Most people watch things superficially, similar to how people tend to listen to the lyrics of a song without really understanding the heartbreak or the joy the composer meant. In these first four photos of the film, there is much to be said if you dig deeper for a meaning or clues to what J.J Abrams has left us. Read More

One of my favorite movies of all time is Jurassic Park. When I first saw it, I really thought that is how dinosaurs would look like if they were alive today. I had never seen how a behemoth of that size would move so quickly and naturally, as opposed to costumed men in T-Rex suits (Godzilla) or stop motion animation creatures (Land of the Lost TV show). The subsequent sequels, part 2 and 3, were aberrations and lacked the Spielberg directorial touch. Once again, Spielberg does not want to direct the 4th part, Jurassic World, but executive produce. Will it return to be as good as the original, improve upon it or fail miserably once again? Watch the trailer and be the judge.

With the conversion of animation to live-action, Disney could have hit stardust gold. Cinderella is the first experiment from the Walt Disney company to “refresh” their animated legacy properties to “real life”. If successful, you will see Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Tangled and yes, Frozen, be adapted to the big screen with real actors. Imagine a Frozen live-action movie? We’ve seen glimpses of how it would look like through the Broadway shows, but film is a whole other medium and beast. The amount of money to be generated from recycling old content is a potential game-changer for the Disney’s film division. Only time will tell if it works, but we at least have this trailer for now to judge it on. Have a look! Read More
