‘This Week In Movies’ is a weekly article catching you up on all the new film releases in theaters. This final week of October entering November, we have ten films that grace us with compelling stories and a few laughs. Read on!
Obviously, anything Disney makes is a blockbuster and Nutcracker should be just that. Mexican actor Eugenio Derbez plays one of the regent fairies. But there are some other interesting stories for seekers of social justice such as Tiger, a film starring Mickey Rourke about a Sikh who wants to box, but the fighting commission won’t allow him unless he shaves his beard, which is against his belief. Bodied is produced by rapper Eminem and is about battle rapping which features a diverse cast, some laughs, and a message. The documentaries on Maria Callas and Ingmar Bergman are sure musts as well. Look at what else is here that you might like to see and GO SEE IT! And remember to listen to our podcast every Friday for our review of movies and interviews with filmmakers and other notable figures of American and Latino pop culture.
