Watch Beyoncé Win A Hair Yanking Fight With A Fan

This past Monday, Beyoncé got caught in a hair-snatching fight with a fan during her Ms. Carter World Tour concert stop at the Belle Centre in Montreal.

According to the Huffington Post, while she sang “Halo,” the diva decided to step off the stage and get closer to her concert goers. Unfortunately, she wasn’t careful about where she stopped to sing and got her luscious blond weave sucked up by one of the fans lining the stage – no no, not a human fan, a whirling machine fan with metal blades!

Just so that you get an idea, the singer was stuck by the fan for about a minute long, or from the time she began to sing: “Hit me like a ray of sun, burning through my darkest night…” till about “You know you’re my saving grace.” Now you go and try to be a real superstar and sing all of that while your hair is being tugged somewhere around 1000 RPMs. Not even Lady Gaga herself! As much as she and bodyguard Julius tried, they simply couldn’t yank her hair out, but Queen B didn’t even break a sweat and kept belting on like the fan was a rehearsed part of the show, until, according to TMZ, a crew member with a pair of scissors cut her hair and set her free.

Luckily the singer came out of the incident just fine and even with a sense of humor. Just to show that she too can laugh at herself, after the concert, Beyoncé posted this hilarious note with a remix of her “Halo” lyrics on her Instagram.

This tour has certainly had some strange and memorable moments for the 31-year-old, but she has handled them like a true Sasha Fierce.

On May 27 during her stop in Copenhagen, Denmark, as she walked down the cat walk and greeted fans one of them got way out-of-line and smacked the singer’s butt while she walked away. She promptly turned around and with a calm and stern voice told him: “I will have you escorted out of here now, all right?” she then sashayed away.

On July 13 during her performance in Nashville, Tennessee, one of her fans had the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to grab Beyoncé’s hand while she sang “Irreplaceable,” during which he was freaking out. Then, the singer bends down and gives him a hug, and after telling her how much he loves her, he freaks out even more, puts his hand on his forehead and does a real Hollywood faint.

Ms. Carter has five more months and plenty of cities to visit, so if this is how her concert is going so far I surely can’t wait to hear what other stories come out of it!
