01.8.2018 | By |

This year’s Golden Globes, a usually festive, yet historically disreputable and controversial show, had an air of legitimacy behind its wings last night. It was the first time that I took the Globes seriously and that began with the commitment from a diverse group of Hollywood women who gave the Time’s Up movement meaning and intention. The night also gave way to an overarching theme of reclamation, inclusivity, and purpose. Read More

Watch Edgar Ramirez, Penelope Cruz and Ricky Martin in the New Trailer for FX’s “The Assassination Of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story”

11.15.2017 | By |

Three of the biggest Hispanic names in movies and music, Edgar Ramirez, Penelope Cruz and Ricky Martin, have come together in FX’s “The Assassination Of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story”. The new show airing January 17th, 2018 takes us through how Andrew Phillip Cunanan (Darren Criss), Gianni Versace’s killer, who also murdered at least five other people during a three-month period in 1997, met Versace, entered his world and ultimately killed him. Kudos to creator/producer Ryan Murphy for casting Hispanic talent at a time where Hispanic actors are severely underrepresented in television and film.
