*Updated March 2026*
On this week’s episode, two major Latino stars join me to discuss the landscape of television and radio: **Rafael Amaya**, the lead of Telemundo’s *El Señor de los Cielos*, and **Enrique Santos**, the Chairman and CCO of iHeartLatino.
## Rafael Amaya: The Crossover Move
Amaya, whose show *El Señor de los Cielos* has consistently led the ratings, recently achieved a historic crossover by appearing in character as Aurelio Casillas on USA’s *The Queen of the South*. This move—appearing in both English and Spanish-language productions in the same night—was a first for the genre and highlighted the growing cultural influence of *narco-novelas*.
## Enrique Santos: The Future of Hispanic Radio
Enrique Santos recently moved from Univision to become an executive and lead talent for **iHeartLatino**, a major new division within iHeartMedia. With his massive fanbase and vision for the future, Santos is poised to fundamentally change the Hispanic radio landscape across the United States.
## 2026 Update
**Rafael Amaya** has remained the iconic face of Telemundo’s most successful franchise. In March 2026, he officially began production for the highly anticipated **Season 10** of *El Señor de los Cielos*. Amaya continues to serve as both the lead and a co-executive producer under his exclusive agreement with Telemundo. **Enrique Santos** has since grown iHeartLatino into the leading multi-platform destination for Hispanic content, overseeing national original programming and the iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina music festival.
