New Trailer: ‘The Raid 2: Berandal’

Sony Pictures Classics has released the brand new trailer for the sequel “The Raid 2: Berandal” before its worldwide debut at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival. The Raid, in my opinion, was the best action film of 2012 and my hopes are that this Indonesian flick can provide the same doses of ultra-adrenalyn-highly-electric action fun that we were in shock to get with the first one.

2014 Oscar Nominations: The Complete List

This is the second year in a row where movies have been at a premium. So tough to pick who and what should be nominated that many people who deserved to be nominated were left out. RUSH by Ron Howard and INSIDE LLEWYN DAVIS were perhaps the most noteworthy absences. Nevertheless, PHILOMENA, HER and DALLAS BUYERS CLUB got some well deserved love with 4, 5 and 6 nods respectively. But it was AMERICAN HUSTLE and GRAVITY whom each received 10 nominations. A victory already for Mexican director Alfonso Cuarón.
