This Week In Movies… ‘Aladdin,’ ‘Brightburn,’ ‘The Proposal’

‘This Week In Movies’ is a weekly column that catches you up on all the new movie releases in theaters. This week, nine films make their debut which hopefully will try to inspire you, make you reflect, provoke and just plain ol’ entertain you. Read on!

The new Aladdin remake makes its debut in theaters and it’ll be a test for a brown skin culture. Can a non-White, non-Asian, non-Black film become a #1 box office in America?
