Latina power! It is a rarity when two A-List latinas get together for a Hollywood movie. Salma Hayek, Jessica Alba should be a great watch! Hayek did it Penelope Cruz for ‘Bandidas’ but got no interest back in 2006. Will this one work? Glad to see power Latinas getting together to make some ol’ fashion Hollywood fare.

Edgar Ramirez is in the new trailer of David O. Russell’s Joy starring Jennifer Lawrence. Ramirez plays J-Law’s love interest (from the looks of it, husband) in the film. Ramirez recently was seen in Libertador, a little seen Spanish language indie drama about Simon Bolivar, the George Washington of Latin America and would even argue he was better than him. Read More

It’s been the laughing stock of 2015. Many critics and fans alike aren’t even giving FF4 a chance. They’ve killed it before it had a chance to hit the screen. Why? 1) It’s a remake//reboot/reimagination and people frown upon “re” of anything. 2) The cast. They’re not A-list actors and fans don’t think this B-team are good enough to get the job done. 3) It’s not a Marvel Studio film, but a Fox film. Haters! It’s time you tone down the ‘Batman-v-Superman-is-going-to-suck’ rhetoric because after watching this trailer you’re going to have no option than to embrace it. Also, you should hope it kicks ass because if not, it could send a huge punch-in-the-face to the superhero industry. Let’s remember Age of Ultron lost the battle to Jurassic World.

The Rocky franchise is getting a reboot with ‘Creed‘, the saga which continues with the son of Apollo Creed, Rocky Balboa’s original arch nemesis. The first trailer is officially out, which you can see above along with Sylvester Stallone playing in a supporting role, but what makes us not discard this reboot altogether is the director Ryan Coogler and star Michael B. Jordan. Both gave us one of the best indie dramas of 2013.
