Unlike her eyeblink appearance in the god-awful Aftershock,Selena Gomez is at least in half of the new action thriller Getaway starring Ethan Hawke. He, by the way, has already been in two movies this year – Before Midnight (one of this year’s best) and The Purge (a follow-up horror thriller after Sinister from 2012).
After Spring Breakers and Aftershock, Gomez is really trying to break into acting all while maintaining a healthy music career. She’s about to drop a new album called Stars and Dance along with a US tour.
