The Wachowski Brothers (The Matrix Trilogy) are at it again. The film is written and directed by the Wachowskis themselves so it sure will be another passion project to watch. Read More

This Week In Movies: ‘Noah,’ ‘Sabotage,’ ‘Cesar Chavez’

03.24.2014 | By |

We begin the last week of March with ten movie releases. Arnold is back! as well as biblical films and the most anticipated Asian action film of the year amongst others. Noticeably, Latino films are trying to establish themselves as a mainstay in Hollywood with Cesar Chavez and an all-star cast of Latino actors. Oblivion (Movie Review)

04.19.2013 | By |

From engrossingly existential to plain ol’ dumbed-down is how I would describe the trek from beginning to end in Tom Cruise’s new movie “Oblivion” from director Joseph Kosinski. Overall, “Oblivion” is a good film, but not a great film. It does possess outstanding visuals (Chilean Claudio Miranda is responsible) and another solid performance from Tom Cruise, but the script towards the end, a combination between a novela romance and contrived plot twists, drags the film from a superb movie to just a slightly better than average affair.
