This Week In Movies: ‘Earth To Echo,’ ‘Tammy,’ ‘Life Itself’

The viewing for the World Cup 2014 has increased tremendously, but that hasn’t stopped people from going to the movies, evident by the ‘Transformers 4’ box office numbers. 10 new film releases will be competing for your eyeballs and money this week. This is perhaps one of the more weaker weeks for quality films. If the “big” release is WB ‘Tammy,’ we’re all in trouble. There are some good movies to see such as ‘Earth to Echo’ and ‘Life Itself,’ but we see the return of Bernardo Bertolucci behind the camera, Nick Cannon does his debut as a director, and the animated Spanish language drama ‘Wrinkles’ draws interest. After the jump, you’ll see a list ranked by order of my interest.
