In a really, really, really bad year for animated movies, we finally get to see, perhaps, the frontrunner to the Best Animated Feature at the Oscars – Frozen – from Walt Disney Animation Studios (Tangled, Wreck-It Ralph). Its toughest competitor will most likely be The Wind Rises by legendary animation director Hayao Miyazaki (Spirited Away, Howl’s Moving Castle). That film had a soporific effect on me that almost lulled me to sleep. Read More
