Benicio Del Toro will debut his return from war at the Cannes Film Festival.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Arnaud Desplechin’s “Jimmy P,” which stars the actor, will show for the first time at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.
In the drama, Del Toro plays Jimmy Picard, a Plains Indian of the Blackfeet nation who returned home from WW II with unexplainable medical problems. While receiving treatment at the Winter Clinic in Kansas he becomes friends with French-American ethnologist and psychoanalyst George Devereux, played by Mathieu Amalric.
