Me watching the screen with Kathie Lee Gifford and Craig Ferguson (Hoda is out on maternity leave) reminds me of Mystery Science Theater 3000. There were a few surreal moments about this segment. First, I loved the set design. It’s a lot more casual and real. I didn’t touch the popcorn because I knew I wouldn’t get a word out. Two, Craig Ferguson dedicating time to flatter me over my name is absolutely nuts. I guess Detective Rico doesn’t sound so bad, lol. That makes Christian Slater and Billy Bush who have done that. Really nuts. Three, hearing my podcast said out loud on national TV is a point of pride for me since it’s so difficult to market your show to a wide audience. Nevertheless, enjoy the spring shows I selected just for you and read below 5 trivia moments you don’t know about Netflix’s Five Came Back

For those comedy aficionados who really like their comedy uncensored, gutsy and emotionally raw, comedienne Lisa Lampanelli is a must watch. Howard Stern called her “a true original and a brilliant comedy mind who’ll steal the show every time. His words ring true after my Q&A with Lampanelli herself where we got down to the heart of many matters, including, her divorce, detailed insights on Donald Trump, why Cosby won’t survive his backlash, why she’s such a fan of Amy Shumer and how she gets away with being “mean” to her audience, amongst many other funny moments. The 1-4-0: #MistressAmerica is different take on what you could consider a romantic comedy. We are so used to having a ‘chick flick’ in which a guy is romantically involved at some point in the central plot. But this film is different.Read More
The “1-4-0”: #TopFive is the best comedy of 2014. It is an urban Stardust Memories/Annie Hall. Chris Rock gives us a smart, romantic, thought-provoking film along with all the humor we’ve known from him.
