We had a chance to sit down with Kristen Stewart and Jesse Eisenberg for the junket of American Ultra and we spoke about various topics such as:
On-Screen Romance
How They’ve Changed Since ‘Adventureland’
How Kristen Stewart thought she completely ruined ‘Adventureland’
Kristen Stewart’s role she felt most unprepared for
How Kristen Stewart has become way more comfortable in her own skin
And how Jesse Eisenberg thought he couldn’t play an action hero
Official synopsis: A stoner ( Jesse Eisenberg) – who is in fact a government agent – is marked as a liability and targeted for extermination. But he’s too well-trained and too high for them to handle. His girlfriend (Kristen Stewart) helps in this action comedy full of laughs and thrills.

JackRicofficialWhat’s the difference between our interviewer’s questions and other people’s questions?

JSI agree with MsNaazish.
Your interviewer asked the right questions, she doesn’t fumble around and appears genuine. It is apparent that Jesse and Kristen felt comfortable with her therefore there was a conversation going on, rather than just answering questions. -

MsNaazishThe questions were thought provoking – like it made not only the actors but also ME, think. Her questions actually made way for a flowing conversation. Unlike most junket questions which are unoriginal and mundane and can be probably answered with a single yes or no. Don’t want to sound condescending but its kinda true. I also liked that your interviewer actually participated in the conversation, putting in thoughtful insights. She had me gripped with the very first question because I’ve seen and read a ton lot of interviews about this film and Kristen and Jesse really stressed on the relationship part of the movie in some of the interviews but in none of them could they “really” share their thoughts about it because the interviewer didn’t seem to be interested and wanted to move on. So I liked that she questioned about the relationship, the first thing, AND the question wasn’t a straight cut one. Even the question about the two actors working together again after a long time was interestingly worded and from a different point of view. You know what I mean? ? Like, I was glad the question simply wasn’t a “So, was it is nice to work together again?”. And the 3rd question about feeling like being thrust into a role was just a gem. I liked how she related the question with the situation in the movie.
