We discuss the intense vocal preparation in becoming The Queen of Disco, why the show cast women in male roles, equal pay, pansexuality and Hispanic identity on Broadway. Then I chat with Zetna Fuentes, a Latina TV director who has directed some of the biggest shows currently on television – Marvel’s “Jessica Jones,” NBC’s “This Is Us,” ABC’s “Scandal” and Amazon’s “BOSCH” to mention just a few. Amazon’s ‘Man in the High Castle’: Executive Producer Frank Spotnitz Discusses Nazi Occupation

Based on Philip K. Dick’s novel, Amazon’s upcoming Man in the High Castle series is set in an alternate 1962 where the Allies lost World War II. America is divided. The Nazis control the East and Imperial Japan control the West, with the Rocky Mountains acting as a neutral zone between the two world powers. The (excellent) pilot episode premiered last year during Amazon’s “Pilot Season” and the full 10-episode series will be released in its entirety on November 20th. Read More
