It is almost that time of the year again when the theater community gets to recognize their best in a prestigious gala much like the film industry except that a lady named Tony sits in substitution for Oscar. The Tony, named in honor of Antoinette Perry, chairman of the board and secretary of the American Theatre Wing, is the theater’s most respected awards show and this summer it celebrates its 67th year.
