He rose to fame on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars, graced the cover of People Magazine, and starred in an M&M’s commercial. Shortly after, he was cast in Hollywood movies including Tyler Perry’s The Single Moms Club, Salsa with Jada Pinkett Smith, and the western Boom Town.
But before that, Latin heartthrob William Levy was famous on the Spanish-language network Univision (which, if my eyes don’t deceive me, became the #1 network in the U.S. after the July sweeps) and continues to make telenovelas. His latest is La Tempestad (The Tempest), a novela full of theatrical melodrama, toned bodies, and even some accidental laughs.
Below is a look at the novela, featuring Levy sporting long blond locks – much like Samson – on a boat with ex-Miss Universe Ximena Navarrete. It unleashes a storm of passion that finds many enemies, including Hernan Saldana, who will be the thorn in the side of this love story.
I’m not a regular novela watcher unless they look like movies (such as La Reina del Sur), but this one might be of interest to the ladies.
