At the beginning of this year, I posted an article titled “The Best Netflix Streaming Movies To Watch Right Now!” that has garnered over 14,000 shares. Despite being popular with our users, all of those films were not Spanish-language movies. That was on purpose because I was writing The Best Spanish-Language Movies Streaming On Netflix!

New Trailer: ‘Jersey Boys’

04.18.2014 | By |

Here it is! The new trailer of “Jersey Boys” from director Clint Eastwood. I saw the original Broadway musical which the movie is based on and it is pure jukebox fun!! I must have seen it at least 4 times and to now see this film adaptation trailer… I must admit, I’m not impressed. The Broadway musical was nominated for 8 Tonys and won 4. It’s still one of the best shows on Broadway and its original lead, John Lloyd Young, also plays the Frankie Valli role in the movie. Read More

This Week In Movies: ‘Transcendence,’ ‘Fading Gigolo,’ ‘Heaven Is For Real’

04.15.2014 | By |

We begin the third week of April with a whopping 19 movie releases, which is a huge amount of films for one single week, not including all those arriving on VOD. This is probably one of the worst weeks in movies of the year as well. When Johnny Depp’s biggest competition this week is Marlon Wayans and some bears, that’s got to be a sad state of affairs. I mean, there is a penis documentary called ‘The Final Member’ that sounds like a joke, but it’s true. Despite that, perhaps the most beguiling film of the week is John Turturro’s ‘Fading Gigolo‘ which includes a rare appearance of Woody Allen as an actor in someone else’s film. That in itself is a treat. Peruse the rest of the line-up and see if anything catches your attention. Read More
